1. PARTICIPATION

  • Participants need to complete the participation details form as mentioned in the Android app in order to submit their entries.

  • Right to permit participation is reserved with the Awards Management team.

  • Individuals who are employed by the Awards management and Sponsors, as well as their immediate family members, individuals with criminal convictions & non-citizens of India are not eligible to participate or to be a part of the India Online Awards (IOA).

  • The Award categories may be altered, modified, or revised at the discretion of the awards management without prior notice to the nominees. Depending on the level of response received. Similarly, the evaluation criteria are subject to potential revisions by both the received votes and juries decision as the Awards Management team.

  • The parameters for evaluation are subject to revision by the internal and external juries and Awards Management


2. RECEIPT OF ENTRIES

  • The participation questionnaire/application form needs to be completed and submitted at least a day prior of declaration of results.

  • Receipt of entries after the last date of receipt specified may be permitted only at the discretion of Awards management team

  • The Award categories may be altered, modified, or revised at the discretion of the awards management without prior notice to the nominees. Depending on the level of response received. 

  • The evaluation criteria are subject to potential revisions by both the received votes and juries decision as the Awards Management team.

  • Entries will be accepted in English only

  • The Awards Management reserves the right to nominate certain business/firms/individual for each category, in case of non-participation in that campaign by business/firm for whatever reason.

3. INCORRECT INFORMATION

  • The Awards Management retains the right to request proof or conduct an audit of the information provided in the entry form. If such a request is made & the participant does not comply, they may be disqualified from participating in the India Online Awards.

  • The information received will be treated as confidential and will only be utilized for the purpose of determining the winner of the Awards. It will not be used for any other purposes.

  • If at any time, any information provided by any participant is found to be incorrect in any manner, then the participant will not be permitted with discontinuation participation in that category of Awards.


4. SHORT-LISTING FOR EACH AWARD CATEGORY

  • All the entries received will be collated with identified entries to ensure completeness of participants & campaign initiated on the same basis.

  • For each category, a jury will evaluate a collated list of entries based on predefined criteria.

  • The decision of the above short listing is binding and final for all  the participants/Nominees could be contacted in case of any missing information.

  • If no entries in a particular category are deemed deserving of the status in the Awards, the Juries or Awards Management team reserves the right to cancel the category at their discretion.

  • The internal jury may decide that no nominee is worthy of the Award & disqualify all participants on this basis at its discretion

  • Jury decision is binding on all participants

5. DETERMINATION OF WINNERS

  • The nominees in each category will be presented to the final jury for the determination of winners

  • The final jury will score and/or rank each nominee based on pre-defined evaluation criteria along with the number of votes basis.

  • The jury's decision is final and binding on all Participants.

  • Participants understand and agree that mere participation in the Awards does not entitle Participants to win a prize.

  • The Jury may decide, in order to maintain high standards of these awards, that there could be no winner in a particular category.

6. GENERAL

  • The decision of the Awards Management on all matters is final & binding for all Nominees, no correspondence can be entertained regarding the same. 

  • Nominees & Winners both are agree to allow to use of their name and factual information about their participation in the public media, free of cost.

  • The RB Foundation will not be liable for any claims / disputes made by the Participants, Nominees or Winners in relation to the Award.

  • The RB Foundation reserves the right to withdraw, or amend these terms at any time and does not take responsibility for any loss or damage that any person or organization may suffer as a result of participating or attempting to participate in the Awards, the Awards being withdrawn or its terms amended.

  • The RB Foundation cannot and shall not be accountable/liable for any disruptions/stoppages/interruptions or cancellation of the Awards Campaign. The RB Foundation and its contractors cannot be held responsible for matters out of its control and for force-majored reasons.

  • Additions, deletions and/or modifications to these Rules are at the discretion of the RB Foundation and the RB Foundation may make such additions/deletions and/or modifications, at any time before or after the Awards.

  • All disputes relating to or arising out of the Awards shall be subject as per the laws of India, & shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction at Delhi, India.

  • The Participants, Nominees and Winners agree that they shall hold harmless the RB Foundation and Sponsors, its employees, officers, contractors or other persons and shall defend them against any loss, claim, demands, costs, damages, judgments, expenses or liability arising out of or in connection with any or all claims whether or not groundless, that may be brought against the RB Foundation by any third party in connection with participation in or winning the Award.
